Welcome to Lourdes Mission Church - YelagiriOur lady of Lourdes, Yelagiri Hills, is a parish belonging to the diocese of Vellore.
It is a vibrant parish with 68 catholic families.
It aims at the education of the Faithful Christian Community and the people of other faith, with particular care towards the young forming them into honest citizens and God-fearing people, by giving them all round formation.
A good number of them are working in our center.
They had come different villages and got settled here.
In the parish, there are three anbiyams, namely, St.
Joseph, Our lady of good health and St.
Francis Xavier.
In each of the anbiyams, there are nearly twenty to twenty-five families.
They come together in the anbiyams’ gathering to share the word of God and have a god-experience.
They also take part in the holy mass and in all the church activities.
They have a very good devotion of organizing a cart procession followed by Holy Mass on the eleventh of every month.
Every year they celebrate the parish feast on 11th of February.
